Hello Amazing Reader,
It’s the last day of July 2025. Blessed be the name of the Lord for His unfailing love and mercies towards us!
How has the year been for you? Have you experienced answered prayers and divine interventions so far or are you still believing God for them?
Have these expectations affected your praise and adoration of God? It’s very convenient to praise God when everything is going well. I honestly believe everyone can do that.
But what happens when things don’t go as expected? Can God still trust you to praise Him regardless?
This is the summary of the song we’re reviewing, “Ka ma ma ri.” It’s a Yoruba song, from Western Nigeria, which means, “may we not see it.” That is, may it never be seen of me that God’s praise ceases from my lips.
It’s a song that checkmates us and sets us back on track when worry and anxiety try to steal God’s praise from us.
Apart from spurring you to worship and praise God, you’d also enjoy free Yoruba lessons from the lyrics 🙂 I’d like to believe that Evangelist Tope Alabi has a personal compendium in Yoruba language because she displays a deep knowledge of the language and I love how she uses it to glorify God.
How can I miss talking about her feature of Ministers BBO and Eyitayo? Their delivery was remarkable!
Although this song is in Yoruba Language, it is subtitled in English and French; making it accessible to an even wider audience.
Ka ma ma ri was released in June 2025, and it’s a track in Evang. Tope Alabi’s latest album, “Oro” (The Word).
May God’s praise never cease from our lips, in Jesus name. Praise God today!
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
