Hello Amazing Reader,
Welcome to another day that the Lord has made, you’ll rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus name.
Trust you had a restful weekend?
“Without God, man cannot, and without man, God will not.”
This quote, attributed to St Augustine, emphasizes two major things. One, man cannot do without God. Second, God will not do without man.
Our focus is on the second part. Let’s break it down. Although God is Omniscient and All-powerful, He needs man’s partnership to operate on the earth.
Partnering with God may look like interceding for others, bearing the Good News of the Gospel to the lost, giving towards the advancement of God’s work, looking after the needy, and so on.
And do you know the best part about such partnerships with God? It’s an absolute privilege for the King of the earth, Master of the Universe, Ruler of all nations, to seek us out and call us to partnership with Him.
He’s saying, “Hello child, I want this person saved. Will you partner with me by speaking to them about me?” Or “Will you partner with me by praying for them until they become saved?”
Mind you, because He is God, He can choose anyone or anything to fulfil this task. Yet, He chooses us. What an honour!
On the flip side, when our words or actions are contrary to this, it shows we are against God. That is a dangerous side to be on.
“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.”
Matt 12:30 (NKJV)
Whenever you don’t feel up to what God has asked you to do, for example, you find yourself lazy to pray, hesitant to speak to others about Jesus, or anything else God has laid in your heart to do, please remember that it is a privilege of partnership with God. And it should not be taken for granted.
If you haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, that’s where partnership begins. He can’t give you any other partnership opportunities until this pre-requisite is fulfilled. If this applies to you, and you’d like to begin a new life with Him, please say this prayer:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.
Congratulations, you are now born again! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.
As you go on this week, please remember that partnership with God is an absolute opportunity which you should be excited about.
I pray you and I receive the grace of God to cherish and honour our God-given partnership platforms, in Jesus name.
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
