Hello Amazing Reader,
Trust you’re well and had a restful weekend. Thank you again for stopping by today. It’s always a blessing to engage with you through this platform.
Today’s meditation is about the Holy Spirit.
- Do you know Him?
- Do you engage Him?
- Do you share your burdens with Him?
- Do you ask Him to teach you things?
- Do you ask Him for ideas, and so on?
When Jesus was about completing His earthly ministry, He introduced His disciples to the Holy Spirit in John 14:16-18.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
In verses 26-27 of the same chapter, He told them more about the ministry of the Holy Spirit
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
From these verses, we see some of the works of the Holy Spirit. He can comfort, abide with us, dwell in us, teach us all things, bring all things to remembrance, and give us peace. As a believer, you have the Holy Spirit advantage, which means at the barest minimum, you should not lack any of these.
One of my pastors usually says that the Holy Spirit’s work in a believer is not limited to helping us speak in tongues. God knew there will be situations in our lives that no other person but the Holy Spirit can take us through them.
If you haven’t been activating the help of the Holy Spirit at all or doing so enough, this is your reminder to begin to do so. All you need to do is ask Him. “Sweet Holy Spirit, please help me through this challenge, help me with my relationships, my job, children, family, finances, this project…” Whatever it is, He’s able to help you. He is not limited to your spiritual needs alone, He has the answers to every and any situation.
However, it is important to note that the Holy Spirit is only available to the believer. Like Jesus said in John 14:17, “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not,”
If you are not yet born again, you cannot receive Him because you cannot see Him. Why not surrender your life to Jesus right away and get qualified to receiving the Holy Spirit’s help. Please say this prayer if you are ready to ask Jesus into your heart:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Congratulations, heaven rejoices over you!

From this week, I encourage you begin to activate or re-activate the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life. Genuinely ask Him to help you with whatever concerns you might have. Watch Him take over, and show you what to do. Ensure you do what He says and don’t forget to thank Him. He loves that a lot!
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
