Hello Amazing Reader,

It’s the last Monday in January 2026! It feels like a few hours ago when we wished each other a Happy New Year, right? Praise the Lord for His goodness and mercies!

One of my pastors usually prays that, “No matter the speed of shame, it will not catch up with you.”

You’d realize and appreciate the importance of this prayer, if you’ve faced a time-bound situation where you needed God to show up or else shame was imminent.

In such a moment, the enemy does all he can to make one feel frustrated. He uses every opportunity to remind you that time is running out. But he forgets that God is never out of control for the believer.

…God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

PSALM 46:5 (nkjv)

He is not just aware of the situation. He is also an ever-present Father who delights in your wellbeing. As long as having that thing is in line with His will for your life, He won’t deny you of it, and He’ll come through right on time.

If you’re on a tightrope right now, I believe this is a worthy reminder that God is mindful of you. And in the words of my pastor, “no matter the speed of shame, it will not catch up with you,” in Jesus name.

Is Jesus the Lord of your life? Today is a great day to decide for Jesus. Welcome Him into your heart as your Lord and Saviour, and have him Father you. It’s the best privilege ever!

Please say this prayer with faith:

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Congratulations, you are now a member of God’s big family! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.

Go into this week with the consciousness that, God is never out of control!

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
