Hello Amazing Reader,
Trust your week is coming along well. Mine is too; all glory to God!
About two weeks ago, one of my friends asked me if I knew Sounds of Salem or if I had listened to any of their songs. Until then, I hadn’t heard about them, so she immediately shared with me the link to “We Will Be Many.” She told me how great the song is and emphasized that I needed to listen to it.
As I listened to the song the following day, I found the introductory beat melodic. Then the lines got me hooked:
The nations are waiting, the people are hungry The Master is in need for vessels So I pledge my allegiance to the one who has called me o I will make Jesus proud, we will be many o
I thought, wow! What a reminder. Nations are indeed waiting; people are hungry to receive the word of God. Yet, in an attempt not to offend others, we tend to keep Jesus to ourselves.
That was not God’s intention when He saved us. He rescued us so we could also rescue others. His plan from the beginning was to have many children across the nations making Him proud and bringing others to know Him. That’s the message of this song in summary.
I really like this song, I’ve been trying to learn the dance steps too 😊 But, beyond that, I love the message it carries. God bless Sounds of Salem!
I’m passing this along to you, like my friend did with me. I encourage you to also share it others. But beyond that, share Jesus with others. Let’s be many!
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
