“It’s November 27th, it can’t happen again this year. Maybe 2017 isn’t for me after all.”

Hey, take it easy beautiful one. I’ve got a wonderful reminder for you today, God is not slow. He never has, never will be and never can be. 2 Peter 3:9 is our focus today. It says, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”  (New International Version) 

Also remember His word in Ecclesiastes 3:11 (King James Version), “He hath made everything beautiful in his time…” Key phrase here is “in his time” not your time. So when you think to throw in the towel, remember this verse of the scripture and stay encouraged.

Let’s take King David as a case in point. Whenever he found himself in a precarious situation, he was quick to speak to his soul, “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted in me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance; Psalm 42:11 (King James Version).

One thing is certain, God will definitely come through for you. It’s only a matter of time. Like David, stay hopeful in God and keep praising Him for the help of His countenance. Keep that smile on, maintain that joy in your heart. Let songs of rejoicing continuously emanate from your soul knowing full well that it’s not over until God says it is. Moreso, it cannot be over until it has turned to you for a testimony.
