Arrggghhhhhhhhhhhh! Where do i go from here? How do I handle this situation? I cannot believe God is letting me go through this?
Have you ever been in such an overwhelming situation where you find yourself blurting out any of these lines in frustration? Well, I have. And so I can tell you to relax! Common, take a deep breathe. Make an attempt to smile…try…see…it worked ♥
One thing you must constantly remind yourself of whenever you are challenged is that there is really nothing new under the sun. Are you unemployed, abused, stagnated, depressed, sick, experiencing delayed conception, delayed marriage, family crisis…name it. Someone else (at least) has been through the same and got out of it. Maybe they all didn’t come out strong but a few did. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, acquaint yourself with the word of God concerning that situation in order to re-build your hope. Also, familiarize yourself with the testimonies of those who were in similar situations and came out victorious. You can start by doing the same things they did.
1 Corinthians 10: 13 (the message) says, “No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.”
What a re-assuring scripture. Know that God is aware of your limit. He knows more than you do about what you are able to handle. For many, after they come out victorious they affirm that though they never thought they would be able to bear it but in the long run, they testify of God’s faithfulness.
No matter what the situation is with you right now:
- Tell yourself it is common
- Remind yourself that God is faithful and won’t push you past your limit
You’ll certainly testify. God’s got you. Have yourself a wonderful week ahead.
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
