Hello Amazing Reader,

Welcome to February!  All through this month, we’ll rejoice and be glad, in Jesus name. Is this going to be just another month, or have you set your expectations?

Recently, I heard the President of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo say, “there’s a difference between making demands and expressing your interest.”

Think about it like this. “It’d be nice to have something to eat.” That’s an expression of interest. But if I say, “I’d like to have a sandwich.” That’s making a demand. It’s specific and addressed to a person who’ll fulfill that demand.

Bishop Oyedepo explained further that as believers, we often express interests in prayer when we are supposed to make demands.

God already has given us all we need for a godly life. 2 Peter 1:3 (NLT) states,

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

However, when we don’t make demands for what He has made provisions for, we shortchange ourselves. If God has given us all we need, we have the responsibility to take it. But, how can we know what demands to make, if we don’t know the provisions available? It begins with a diligent study of God’s Word to know what’s available, and then you can make your demands. Some of the ways to do this include: prayer, faith, and thanksgiving.

If you haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, that’s definitely something to make a demand for. God already made provision for your salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection. You can receive your salvation today, as you say this prayer with faith:

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Congratulations, you are now a member of God’s big family! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.

It’s your turn! God already made provisions for you. Go ahead to make your demands and believe that you receive them.

Have a testimony-filled month; one on the heels of another, in Jesus name.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
