Hello again. Trust your week has been full of testimonies? Our Prayer and Fasting series continues today and THE HOLYSPIRIT is our focus. Let’s go!

There’s a limit to how well we can pray for ourselves. While you may pray about the needs you are aware of, what happens to those needs you are not even aware of? Many times, our limited minds tell us to pray (and even fast) for item “A”,  meanwhile God knows what you need is item “O”; hence the place of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:26-27 says, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

Little wonder many have their prayers unanswered. When you do not pray according to the will of God, your prayers will remain unanswered no matter how long you pray concerning it. The Holy Spirit knows the will of God concerning every aspect of your life and so it is in your best interest to engage His help.

Having established this, you are probably wondering how you can engage the Holy Spirit.  First, He is a perfect gentle spirit. He will not come to your aid except you ask Him to. That simple? Yes, it is. All you need do is ask Him to pray through you. Ask Him to help you pray according to the will of God.

Again, another way is by praying in tongues.  1 Corinthians 14:2 says, “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto  men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”

When you speak in tongues, even the devil lacks understanding of what you are saying to God so he cannot get in the way of your answers. Speaking in tongues is a “coded” spiritual language which links you directly to God, no interference whatsoever.  It is submitting to the will of God and letting the Holy Spirit pray through you. If you are reading this and you desire the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I declare that it is yours now in Jesus name.

Should you require more explanation on receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirt?  Please speak to a Pastor in your local Church or get in touch with us.

Many thanks for continuing on this series. I pray you a more rewarding prayer life as you engage the help of the Holy Spirit going forward.

God’s blessings always,
Dammy
