We’re still celebrating God’s precious gifts to us; our children. We wish them all a Happy Children’s day and pray that they all will be mightily used by God, Amen.

I once heard Bishop Thomas Aremu (of Living Faith Church,Worldwide) say he refers to his children as ‘God’s children’ because he only considers himself as their caretaker and a channel through which they came into the world.  What an insight!

Malachi 2:15 (the Message) says ‘God, not you, made marriage. His Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage. And what does he want from marriage? Children of God, that’s what.

Did you see that? He wants Godly offspring as fruits of your marriage. He wants children who would hold up the banner of righteousness. How wonderful it’ll be, if we bring up our children with this revelation. Remember that they are God’s property and we are only channels through which they are born. Pray for them and with them, teach them to relate with God, expose them to edifying materials. In fact, God desires that we raise them using His word as our manual. Not societal dictates, cultural dictates nor  parental instincts.

In this fast-paced, technological age that we find ourselves today, we realize that our children are way more exposed than we were. Hence, we definitely cannot achieve the task of raising Godly offspring in our own strength. We must absolutely rely on the help of the Holy Spirit.

For those trusting God to have their own babies, God has not forgotten you. He says you will have your quiver full of them ;Psalm 127:3-5. He gave to Hannah, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebecca after several years of waiting. He hasn’t changed one bit. In the words of Bishop David Oyedepo, ‘ your father is a baby maker, you cannot be a baby beggar.

So, rejoice! Your wait is over.

God’s blessings always,
Dammy
