Life is a battle of words. The enemy will keep speaking but you must never allow him to have the last word.’

I heard this at the recently concluded International Youth Alive Convention of  Living Faith Church, few days later I heard this song; Coincidence or Spiritcidence?

You say’ reminds its listeners that the battle of words is constantly raging. While God’s word already tells us who we are, negative voices will always attempt to negate what God says. Most often, these negative voices tend to be in tandem with our ‘feelings’ ; thus advancing the deceit game.

You see, these negative voices ace at persistence. They keep coming at you just so you would give in. In the words of the song writer,

I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough, every single lie that tells me I will never measure up

If these voices wouldn’t give in, why should you? You must constantly remind yourself of what God says about you, believe it whole-heartedly and talk back too. Do so until it’s only what God says that matters to you.

The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me

This treasure is everything, honestly. The lyrics, jazz instrumentals, delivery…simply beautiful! You should see the video and get familiar with the lyrics

‘You Say’ is written by Jason Ingram, Paul Mabury and Lauren Daigle. It’s a 2018 release in Lauren’s album ‘Look up Child’
