Dear Amazing Reader,
Trust October has been awesome already? It’s always a delight having you stop by.
From the scriptures, we see that when God visits a person (people), it culminates in open laughter; the type that cannot be hidden. A smile or grin won’t do justice to such visitations because the visited person(s) would not be able to contain it. Usually, such visitations as we see in scriptures came after God’s people had been written off by those around them. These people were severely mocked but when God showed up, it was mega.
A case in point is Abraham and Sarah. They had waited on God for the blessing of the fruit of the womb for 25 long years. In fact, biologically speaking, it was a hopeless case because Abraham was a hundred years old and Sarah, 90; but that did not matter to God. God showed up regardless of the physical limitations and Isaac came. Sarah, testifying of God’s faithfulness said in Genesis 20:6, “…God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.” Did they laugh with her or not? They sure did.
Another example is Elizabeth; another case that had been written off and seemed impossible. Luke 1:36 captures it thus, “Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month.” It didn’t matter to God that people had considered her unable; God visited her and she gave birth to John the Baptism.
You may be wondering if God’s visitation is limited to fruitfulness issues. Not at all, it covers any and every area of concern. Particularly those that had been written off, not just by others but even by yourself. That concern that has made other mock you and ask if your God still exists.
If you are in this category, congratulations already! Yes, congratulations to you because God is set to turn things around for you such that the same ones who laughed at you will begin to laugh with you. God has orchestrated this season for your laughter because for the first time in the 37 years of Living Faith Church (also known as Winners’ Chapel, International); she will be having a service tagged, Covenant Day of Laughter tomorrow, 7th October, 2018.
Wherever you are currently located, you are welcome to fellowship in the branch closest to you. If that won’t work for you, you could join the international headquarters online beginning 6am, Nigerian time.
