Happy Father’s Day again to our wonderful fathers and potential fathers. Our prayer for you is that God helps you to leave the best of legacies for your children- leading them in the way of the Lord. Having them depend on your salvation would at best provide them with an appropriated version which can’t take them far. Instead, have them know God for themselves, and you are guaranteed rest.
Some time ago, I heard one of my pastors say, “God is God of all, but Father to few.” That is to say, He only fathers those that embrace the gift of salvation. The Bible in 1Timothy 2:4 lets us know that God wants all men saved and to come to the knowledge of truth. But, it takes receiving the gift of salvation and confessing Jesus as Lord and personal savior to get anyone enlisted as a child of God.
Typical of a good earthly father, he wants the best for his children at all times and does as much as he can to make sure his family is comfortable. If an earthly father can do this, how much more our heavenly father? He dots over us with overwhelming love, seeking our best interest at every point of our lives.
Matthew 6:25-33 presents a catalogue of situations that tend to get people worried- feeding, shelter, clothing, etc. Verses 31-32 (TPT) states, “So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require?
Your heavenly father does know all that you require per time and He wants to ravish so much love on you, but you determine how much of this love gets to you. He doesn’t want to be only your God, He wants to be your Father too. Are you ready to have Him father you? Please say to him:
Dear God, thank you for the gift of salvation. I appreciate you for sending your son to die for my sins. Today, I forsake my sins and ask that you forgive me. By your blood, cleanse me of every unrighteousness and make me yours. Thank you for saving me, thank you for giving me a new life in Jesus name.
Congratulations, you are now born again!! If you would like to know more about your new life in Christ, please send us a mail; we’ll be excited to hear from you.
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
