Hello People,
I hope your week has been productive. It is good to have you join us again today. I pray that today’s review will speak to you and charge you up for the rest of the week, in Jesus name.
The song on review today is a song that has miraculously come back on my radar for the past 2-3 weeks. It is an old song, released in 2002, but a timeless one that still holds so much depth and power in this modern age. Ancient words by Michael W. Smith is a song that beautifully describes the Word of God and the power it holds. It is a prayer that God’s word will not return to him void. But every instruction and promise that reveals the incredible nature of God will find expression and come alive in our lives.
The chorus of the song goes;
Ancient words ever true
Changing me, and changing you.
We have come with open hearts
Oh let the ancient words impart.
The song persuades us to go to God’s word with an open heart, and make room to receive his instructions. The Ancient Words are the only thing we can’t do without in this chaotic world, God’s own manual for us on how to navigate this world. It is a great song to start your morning or daily devotions or, generally, to set your mind right and ready to receive the Holy Spirit and commune with God. Be blessed as you listen.
God bless,

Ancient words, yet ever relevant. Thank God for His word.
