Happy New Year! We are already in mid-January; can you believe that? I pray and hope you all are having a divine start to the year 2024.

Today’s anchor scripture is taken from Genesis 26:12 NKJV “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him.”

In my church, the promise of God that we standing on for this year is that God is going to 10x and 1,000x, depending on your faith, our results this year. We all know when God says something there is no going back on His word. But, is it enough for God to just make promises or do we also need to enrich our faith, resources, ourselves, and capacity to receive those promises?

I am here to tell you today that we are in another planting season. We all have goals for 2024 and if you don’t, I would encourage you to set your expectations for 2024 early on in the year. Setting goals and having expectations give God room like in today’s scripture to exceed our expectations. How would Isaac have reaped a hundredfold if he hadn’t planted at all or how would God have surprised him with a ‘same-year’ harvest if he hadn’t planted early?

I don’t know what you are hoping to achieve this year, but fast forward quickly to December 31st 2024, how would you want that end of the year to feel like? What would you be thanking God for? If your goal is to have a deeper walk with God, a promotion at work, a book or business launch, whatever it is, start planting now. Plant in time, commitment, people, giving, actions, and personal and career development and watch God bless it a hundredfold. I see hundredfold testimonies abounding even before mid-year as we step forward in faith to plant.
