Hello Amazing Reader,

Happy Easter, happy new week, happy new month. It’s a brand new quarter as well. I pray that you and I enjoy God’s new mercies in this season, in Jesus name.

How did you spend the resurrection celebration? Apart from celebrating the risen Christ, are you leaving this season with a consciousness of who you are as a child of God?

Romans 8:11 states, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

Can I ask you to read this scripture repeatedly until it makes an impression on your spirit? The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you as a child of God.

There was no external force responsible for Jesus’ resurrection. In fact, the enemies of Jesus had done everything humanly possible to ensure Jesus’ resurrection prophecy didn’t come to pass. They made the tomb secure and placed a guard to watch over it, Matthew 27:62-66. By doing these, they thought they had foiled his resurrection plan. What they didn’t know was that the Spirit of God was responsible for Jesus’ resurrection, and this Spirit was not dead. When the third day came, the Spirit of God in the dead body of Jesus made the resurrection happen as prophesied.

That’s the same Spirit that is in you. It has the power to give life to your mortal body. So, whatever is dead in you or around you must align with this truth. This is your reality as a child of God!

If you are not a child of God, today is a great day to become one. Please say this prayer, “Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I ask that you forgive me of all my sins, and wash me with your blood. I believe that you died and rose again for my redemption. I declare that you are my Lord, and I am yours forever. Keep me blameless until you return, and help me to make it with you to heaven, in Jesus name.

If you said this prayer, congratulations! You are now a child of God. You too have the Spirit of God dwelling within you.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
