Hello Amazing Reader,

It’s the start of another great working week. This week, I pray you’ll be strengthened to do the will of the Father, in Jesus name.

Two weeks ago, we learned about bearing fruits as believers, and we’ll be continuing that conversation today. Today, our focus is on practical ways to share the gospel of Christ.

How do I break the ice? How can I walk up to a total stranger to talk about someone they may not even be interested in knowing about? What if they find my message offensive?

There are so many what-ifs and hows that can attempt to discourage you, but God will always make a way when you commit your desire to evangelize to Him.

That brings us to the first step, prayer. You must pray for those with whom you want to share the gospel before you speak with them at all. Soul winning is spiritual. You can’t afford to engage in it like it is a physical activity. I heard a quote about soul winning that has stayed with me. It says, you cannot talk to a person about God without first talking to God about the person (paraphrased).

“For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.”

2 Cor 4:4 (AMPC)

From the scripture above, we see that the unbeliever’s mind is blind. It takes a greater divine power to open their eyes. This divine power can be activated through prayer.

The second step is, speak. You have to take a step of faith to speak. Maybe it’s a total stranger or someone whom you’ve always known, but you didn’t know how to bring up the subject, God is the One who can give you the right words, and you have to believe Him for it. You’ll be surprised how a “God bless you,” “Jesus loves you,” sharing your personal testimony, or asking to pray for them can open the conversation. But, it takes you positioning yourself in faith to allow God to fill your mouth with the right words.

“I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.”

Psalm 81:10 (NKJV)

I challenge you to begin with these two steps, and you’ll see how God honours these steps of faith. Don’t forget that it is the Holy Spirit who convicts. You don’t have the power of conviction. Yours is to sow the seed by speaking the words that God lays in your heart, and the Holy Spirit will take over.

If you are not yet born again, today is your day of salvation. It’s time for you to come into the fold so that you can also begin to tell others about Jesus.

Please say this prayer, if you’d like to accept Jesus into your heart.

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned, please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen

Congratulations, you are now saved! If you’d like to receive additional information about your new faith, and how you can maximize your new life, please reach out to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com. We’d be excited to help.

This week, and beyond, will you commit by the help of God to be a fruitful believer?

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
