Hello Amazing Reader,

Trust your week has been great.

I had something else in mind to review today, but recent sad events in Nigeria have burdened my heart. There’s been a lot of debate around whether there is a genocide of Christians in the country, yet this week more Christians were killed. These events are sad to see, but thank God that we can pray and trust God to turn things around in Nigeria, and many other parts of the world where similar events are happening.

In the late 1990s, Nigerian Gospel minister, Panam Percy Paul sang and prayed this song over Nigeria at the Return concert.

Now, more than 25 years later, I realize this song not only addressed that moment and it was also a prophetic song.

God save Nigeria!

That’s the theme of this song. It’s a simple, yet powerful and heart felt prayer to God for His help.

Maybe you’re not Nigerian and you have no ties whatsoever with it, could you please pray for other countries where Christians are being persecuted and unjustly victimized.

Perhaps, you no longer have the strength to pray, or you cannot mutter any more words, I encourage you to sing this song over Nigeria (or other affected countries).

God will surely heal our land, in Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for praying,

Dammy
