Hello Amazing Reader,

Welcome to December đŸ„đŸ„đŸ„. May it be a month of crowning blessings and perfection of all that God has started in your life, in Jesus name.

With the year gradually ending, are you still expecting your blessings or you’ve pushed them forward to the new year?

I learned of a young man who randomly showed up at an event with the hope of getting something to eat. During the event, there was a call for participants who could perform a song on the spot. A few persons responded to the call, including this young man. And guess what? His performance was so entertaining that he received lots of gifts, including money.

Now I don’t know if this person is a believer. But he went there with an expectation—a free meal. That expectation was what led him there in the first place, but he left with something much bigger than a free meal.

The power of expectation is a universal principle. It’ll respond to you whether or not you are a believer. But, as a believer, it’s even more powerful.

Job 14:7-9 (NKJV) states,

“For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease.Though its root may grow old in the earth, and its stump may die in the ground, Yet at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth branches like a plant.”

Yes, December is here and the year is ending. But, if you remain hopeful in God, great things can still happen for you. Don’t stop believing God. He is still able to work things out in your favour. You become a hindrance to your blessing when your hope is lacking. God needs your hope alive for Him to visit you.

If you are not yet born again, I encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus today. Please say this prayer to ask Him into your heart:

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Congratulations, heaven rejoices over you!
