Hello Amazing Reader,

Happy new week!

Over the weekend, the 1nebody book club community met to review an all-time classic, ‘The Believer’s Authority,’ by Kenneth E. Hagin. In my opinion, every believer needs this as an operational manual.

In this post, I’ll be sharing one of the Ephesian prayers which the author recommends for every believer to pray regularly.

“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,”

Ephesians 1:16-19 (KJV)

The author shares how he prayed this daily for six months, and the results he experienced were phenomenal. Although he had been a believer and a preacher for several years, the results of this prayer made it seem like he had just begun a new walk with God.

He also mentioned that he prayed the same prayer for others when he wasn’t sure what to say or how to bring them before God. He would mention their names to God and ask Him to give them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Himself.

He specifically prayed this for his brother, who was yet to know the Lord, and he took authority over the spirit of unbelief that was preventing his brother from coming to faith. He recognized the power of this prayer when his brother accepted Christ just ten days later, despite having prayed for him for many years prior.

From these two scenarios, we can see that this is a powerful prayer that can be offered for anyone—whether they have been in the faith for many years or have not yet been born again. It can also be a prayer for yourself. I encourage you to pray this intentionally as often as possible, mentioning those for whom you are praying. As you do, I pray you experience God in a new way, in Jesus’ name.

If you haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, today is your day of salvation. Jesus has already paid the price for you. He loves you and wants you to accept His love. Can you please say this prayer:

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned, please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen

Congratulations, you are now saved!

Could you also pray this for yourself and for everyone that God places on your heart this week and going forward? May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, grant you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

Have a victorious week!

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
