Hellooooooo, it’s the start of another great week. I’m super excited about the week already, are you?

Exodus 14:13 is our meditation line this week. It says, ‘And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them no more for ever.

Let’s back up a bit. So,  the Israelites had been in Egypt for several years. Since they were foreigners in the land, they were made to serve the Egyptians.  However, God decided it was time for them to leave Egypt in order to fulfill the covenant He had made to their forefathers. God sent Moses to Pharaoh asking him to release the Israelites but he persistently refused as God had hardened his heart. In fact, it was not until the 10th plague, (the death of all first born) that Pharaoh agreed to letting the Israelites go.

Shortly after Pharaoh gave his word releasing them, he realized that he really shouldn’t have. Then, the hot chase began.  With six hundred chosen chariots, and all other chariots, each having a captain they pursued after the Israelites who by now, were enjoying a breath of fresh air.

Suddenly, the Israelites looked to see they were being pursued. Ahead of them was the Red Sea, behind them was the entire army of Egypt. What a scene! Of course they were sore afraid and began to blame Moses for bringing them out of Egypt in the first place.

In spite of the situation, Moses was bold enough to tell them, ‘Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew you to day.’  And truly, the Israelites saw the might of God in display as He made a way for them in the midst of the Red Sea, which was the same sea that swallowed the host of Egypt.

Just like God said to the Israelites through Moses, He’s asking you today, not to entertain any fear. Rather, be still and see His salvation which he will show you even today. Remember that God doesn’t swim in troubled waters. It doesn’t matter the Red Sea before you or the host of challenges giving you a hot chase; be still and let the miracle worker do His thing!

Your testimonies are here already♥

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
