Dear Amazing Reader,

Happy New September once again and many thanks for stopping by.

Proverbs 3:5 says, ‘Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;’ (New International Version). Did you notice it says all your heart? Not a little or some. Not even most. God desires that we trust Him fully and completely in every aspect of our lives; career, family, academics, business, finances, health, name it. He totally hates it when we explore all other options and come back to ask for His help or we trust Him 40%, our networks 30% and ourselves 30% . It doesn’t matter the percentage variation,as long as it isn’t God 100%, it doesn’t count for us as trust.

Have you noticed that even the kindest human being won’t think to help you so much that you become better off.  At best, he/she could bring you up to par, but even this is rare. That individual whom you have decided to trust in, is as human as you are. He/She may truly desire to help you but a situation changes at the last minute and all else is no longer equal. This is not to say God cannot use others to favour you. Of course,He does. But here’s the difference, when you choose to trust God completely, He by himself raises people to help you. Many times, it’s from sources we least expected.

King David, knowing how disastrous it is to trust in any other (self, individual, gods…)  says to his soul in Psalm 62:5-8, ‘My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.  In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.”

Why not trust God on that issue 110%, you’ll see how He’ll daze you.
Have a thoroughly blessed September.

God’s blessings always,
Dammy
