Hello God’s love,

How has your Easter celebration been? We’ve had a unique locked-in edition in most parts of the world, haven’t we? Nevertheless, we must not lose sight of the purpose of Christ’s resurrection.

In today’s meditation, we’re exploring one of the many blessings that Christ’s resurrection brings to us. Acts 1:3 (The Passion Translation) states, “After the sufferings of his cross, Jesus appeared alive many times to these same apostles over a forty-day period. Jesus proved to them with many convincing signs that he had been resurrected. During these encounters, he taught them the truths of God’s kingdom realm.”

‘Convincing signs’ is the crux here. The King James Version has it as infallible proofs- that is, signs that cannot be explained, yet cannot be denied. One of my pastors usually says, “if you don’t have a proof, you don’t have a point.” Could you think about that for a minute?

If you do not have clear proofs of redemption at work in your life, what then is the essence of having a relationship with God? Our redemptive package consists- power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and praise; Revelation 5:12.

In addition, Hebrews 13:8 lets us know that Jesus is still able to do what He did in Bible times. Consequently, if He showed Himself alive to the apostles with many convincing proofs that He’s alive, He can do the same for you and I; let us pray.

Dear Jesus, appear to me in this season with many convincing proofs that you are alive. Just like you did for the apostles, do the same in my life, in Jesus name,Amen!

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
