Hello Dear One,

Happy New Year once again. How have the past few days been? Are you back to work, resumed school or you’re still taking time off before hitting the ground running? Whichever is the case with you,  I believe it’s a wonderful time to prayerfully set order to the year. Pray, fast, study the word, and get intimate enough with God to know how He communicates with you. I’ve heard severally that there is no substitute to a personal walk with God, and I can tell you this is absolutely true. Knowing God for yourself is goals! Trust me.

The West Africa Faith Believers Convention (WAFBEC), hosted by the Covenant Christian Centre commenced on January 3rd 2021, and it’s been explosive to say the least. In one of the sessions by the Senior Pastor, Pastor Poju Oyemade, he taught on prayer & fasting.  One of the things that stood out for me was the need to always seek the face of God before making decisions as a believer, however trivial they may seem. Going by his example, he said your choice of where to live should not be determined by its proximity to your place of work. Have you spoken to God about it?  Listen to the message here.

As we prayerfully align the days ahead of us, we must never assume we know how to go. It is wise to ask God to order your steps in His word. Ask Him to lead and guide you every day. Interestingly, there are quite some arguments as to who the composer of this song is. While that may not be clear, what we know is that the song has been a blessing, it’s a blessing and it’ll remain a blessing.

Let this song be your prayer all year and beyond.
