Hello Amazing One, trust you had a splendid weekend? As we look forward to welcoming September in a few hours, we trust God with you  for the delivery of your expectations in Jesus name.

You probably started the year particularly pumped about your expectations. Maybe confessing them daily and engaging other steps of faith. Now September is almost here, and you are most likely not as excited about your confessions anymore. Not because you’ve entirely lost hope in God, but weariness is kicking in because your desires are yet to come to fruition.

Imagine a farmer who plants seeds, consistently waters them and ensures the soil has the right nutrients. But for some reason the seeds don’t begin to bud when expected. It would be unwise for the farmer to dig out the seeds in frustration. Instead, he/she would further nurture the ground and till out the weeds in expectation of a successful harvest.

In like manner, we shouldn’t dig out our seeds by ceasing to confess God’s word even when things are not happening in the frequency we expect them. In the words of Jackie Mize (author of Supernatural Childbirth), “Confessing the word of God is not begging or pleading with God but thanking and agreeing with Him.”

We must stay thankful and in agreement with God to see His word come to bear in our lives.

Remember God’s word in Mark 11:23 (KJV),

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

God’s blessings always,
