Have you taken out time to seek the face of God concerning the New Year? He must have spoken to you, did you write down what He said?

Habakkuk 2:2 states, “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

There is something about writing what God says to you. It might not make any sense when you receive it, but write it regardless. It helps you develop a deeper sense of gratitude in the long run. When He’s fulfilled His word to you, you can look back and thank God for bringing to pass all He said.

We’re not talking about New Year resolutions, vision boards, and the likes. While these are not wrong, they mostly represent what we seek to achieve personally. On the other hand, what God says to us are those things He wants to do through us. They might be too big for our minds to believe, but write it down. That’s a step of faith.

As you walk with Him in obedience, He’ll orchestrate how the fragments come together. Yours is to believe, His is to work it out.
