It’s great to have you on board. Welcome to a brand new week. You will rejoice and be glad all through the week in Jesus name.

One of my pastors usually says, “God is a God of in spite, not a God of because.” That is, God will not come through for you because of your efforts. Rather, in spite of your shortcomings, He will cause you to testify, so that it is evident to everyone including yourself that your blessings came by the hand of God.

Often times, we are quick to allude our successes to ourselves, our networks, degrees, eloquence, and so on. Meanwhile, all we have to our advantage is because of God’s grace upon our lives. Even when we think our righteousness paved way for the blessings we enjoy, it is still the grace of God that helps us live up to His expectations of us. Philippians 2:13 states, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

As we experience God’s blessings upon our lives this year, let’s remember to allude all the glory to Him. Let’s be quick to mention to others that it is God at work. As we keep doing this, He keeps manifesting His blessings in us and through us, Amen.
