Hello Amazing One,

Trust your week has been splendid? It’ll close out with even greater testimonies in Jesus name. Were you at the 2022 edition of the West African Faith Believers’ Convention (WAFBEC)? It was a wonderful experience, right? I can’t thank God enough for the WAFBEC platform. It always contributes to a beautiful start of the year since I got exposed to it.

One of those that spoke to my moment during the convention is Pastor John Hannah, founder and lead pastor of New Life Covenant Church Southeast, Chicago. A non-denominational, multicultural church in South Chicago, USA.

Prior to WAFBEC 2022, I had never seen, nor heard about Pst John. I guess that heightened my curiosity to know more about him. As soon as he began to minister, I could tell I had gotten an addition to my list of favorites from WAFBEC.

In this message, he shares from the story of David in 1 Samuel 17. David, even though he did not look like it, was anointed to be king. He did not look like he could bring down Goliath, but he killed Goliath using the least likely ‘weapon.’

Similarly, you might not look like it. But, you are anointed to do what you do. You are anointed to be who God has called you to be. You are anointed to function in various capacities like David did, and still excel.

This message particularly inoculates you with grace and strength, knowing full well that regardless of what your ministry or industry is like. You are different because the anointing distinguishes you.

Please listen to this message already. It’s okay to also include Pst John to your list of favorites, and say to yourself as often as you need to, “I am anointed to be me.”
