Hello Amazing One,

We are deeply sorry for our inability to post a showcase edition last Saturday, please forgive us. We’ll do better by the grace of God.

God has caused us to see the last day of January 2022; what a Mighty God! I don’t know how much of God’s help you enjoyed in this outgoing month, but greater help is available in the coming months.

Through the scriptures, we see God’s promise to help us. One of such scriptures is Isaiah 41:13. It states, “For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”

However, you may have noticed we all receive His help in varying proportions. Yes, God genuinely wants to help us, but do we want to be helped? Especially in those areas where we seem to have it all together. We’ve gotten so used to achieving laudable goals by our efforts, that we indirectly or directly think as far as these are concerned, success comes to us quite easily.

Some years ago, I needed a job. I had recently completed an additional degree and so I felt very prideful. I didn’t have to say so, but my actions gave me away. I thought the organisations would come scampering to have me work with them. I kept applying and praying, but all to no avail.

Then, I was at a worship service and I heard the Pastor say, “The reason you haven’t got that job is because you are trusting in your certificate. Can you look up to God instead?” That was God reprimanding me. I immediately repented and asked God to help me. Guess what? Not only did a job come through, I had about three offers all at once.

Dear One, God wants to help you, but would you like to be helped? He doesn’t want to help you in some aspects alone, He wants to help you in every department of your life. He wants to be the source of all of your help.

May your testimony be like David’s in Psalm 121:2, “My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. “
