Hello Amazing One,

Trust you are excited to begin the new week? How was the Father’s day celebration for you? Did you take some to appreciate the fathers in your life? Well done if you did. If you are yet to, we encourage you to do so.

Our Meditation scripture for the week is Psalm 34:1-2. It states, “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.” David did not make this proclamation because his life was always rosy. In fact, Bible history records that when he wrote this Psalm, his life was being threatened.

How could someone who was faced with such a situation still choose to bless the Lord? David certainly knew the potency of praise. He knew that God couldn’t resist his praise. And as long as he got God into his situation, it was as good as settled.

Dear one, what’s that situation that you’re faced with? You’ve probably prayed, fasted, and done all else. But, have you genuinely praised God in spite of the situation? Praise is a powerful weapon; it can switch things in your favour in a moment. This week, I encourage you to praise God in the face of that circumstance. Do so genuinely and whole heartedly, and God will certainly come through for you like He did for Paul and Silas in Acts 16.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
