Hello Amazing Reader,

It’s the last day of March 2025 and also the last day in quarter 1. Isn’t God faithful? Your being alive and reading this is a proof of God’s faithfulness over your life.

“It is because of the LORD’S lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, Because His [tender] compassions never fail.”

Lamentations 3:22 (AMP)

I learnt of the story of someone who was frustrated because he felt things were not going well for him. He decided to go to his pastor’s office to let out his anger. He told the pastor, “nothing is working.”

The pastor gave him a sheet of paper, divided into two columns. He encouraged him to write out everything that was not working in the left column. When he was done writing, it was quite a long list. It included: no money, no job, no food.

The pastor went on to ask him some questions, and he was to indicate his response in the right column. He mentioned his vital body parts and asked him if they were working, and he confirmed they were. On the right column, the pastor asked him to write out the working parts. His list included: working brain, working kidneys, working liver, working hands and feet, and so on.

Next, the pastor asked if he wanted to switch the items on the left which were not working, for those on the right which were working. For example, would he prefer to have money, but have a failing liver?

At this point he realized he had only been focused on the things that seemed not to be working. He left his pastor’s office with a grateful heart, thankful for all God had done for him.

This is not to say that we cannot have everything working well for us. Or to paint an image of a limited God who cannot afford all the good things you desire all at once. No, please. God, who owns the world and everything that’s in it (Psalm 24:1) is more than able to do for us much more than we can ask or imagine; Eph 3:20. However, because He knows us more than we know ourselves, He knows when the timing is right for what we’re asking for.

The devil always attempts to take our eyes off what God has done, and instead focus on our pending prayer requests and expectations because he knows the importance of gratitude.

Maybe Q1 didn’t seem to go as planned, but can you choose to be thankful to God for His lovingkindnesses over you? As you pause, and reflect, you’d realize how much God has done for you.

If you haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, that’s a great place to begin. Your thanksgiving cannot be accepted, if you are still in sin.Jesus has already paid the price for you. He loves you and wants you to accept His love. Can you please say this prayer:

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned, please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen

Congratulations, you are now saved! If you’d like to receive additional information about your new faith, and you can maximize your new life, please reach out to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com. We’d be excited to help.

May this last day of March and Q1 deliver all it’s goodness to you, and may the Lord go ahead of you into April, in Jesus name.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
