Dear Favoured One,
🙂 Do you remember that was the salutation the angel gave to Mary when he appeared to her, bearing good news about God’s plan to bring Jesus to the world through her? In like manner, I pray the angels of God bearing the good news you’ve long been waiting for, visit you throughout the month of May in Jesus name.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (King James Version) states, “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Do you observe God instructed Habakkuk to write the vision He had given to him? He was to have it documented, so that it will trigger him to run as he read it. Something else to note is the timing God spoke to him about. Every vision has a timing ordained by God. And as long as He’s in control of the timing, He determines when the vision will be delivered. That is not to give room for complacency on our part, because God expects us to keep running until the vision is eventually fulfilled. He goes on to encourage Habakkuk not to give up in the waiting room, because the vision will ultimately come to pass.

What vision has God given to you? Do you have it written down? It doesn’t matter how big it may seem, I encourage you to write it down, if possible include images that help you project the future you desire. Remember the God you serve is the One with whom it is impossible to lie; Hebrews 6:18. If He has made you a promise, please don’t give up;it will surely come to pass, if you choose to wait.

Can we pray? Dear God, I believe your word to me. I am assured that you have no track record of failure, and you’re not about to start with me. Help me not to get weary in waiting, I receive the grace to wait on you until your word to me comes to pass in Jesus name, Amen!

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
