Hello there, beautiful December greetings to you.

First, sincere apologies for not having our “Review Thursday” and “Showcase Saturday” sessions last week. It was all about Shiloh 2017 from 5th-10th December. Trust me, when I say it was an encounter of a lifetime.

Still in the spirit of Shiloh, today’s Meditation is based on one of the lights received from Bishop David Oyedepo about the path of the just.

The Bible in Proverbs 4:18 (New International Version) says, “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” The King James Version says, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” (You are more than welcome to cross reference with other translations for better understanding).

Who then is a just/ righteous person; you may ask? Simply put, it is the person who consistently walks in the fear of God. The one who does what is right before God always and at all times. The Bible in Genesis 6:9 refers to Noah as “…a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.” Lest you say it was only possible to live that way in the days of old. Don’t forget that it was in the time of Noah that God wiped off the human race through a flood because of the corrupt and violent nature of the earth. In spite of the gross corruption on the earth, Noah still did right before God. That tells us that it is possible to live right before God irrespective of the times we live in.

What’s more, there’s a deluge of blessings for the just person. God says your path is only permitted to shine more and more; not more or less; not less or less. You’re not supposed to have a better yesterday. Each day, month, year  is supposed to get better for you as long as you have met the ‘just person’ requirement set by God himself.

Welcome to your season of New Beginnings. As you prepare to enter into the new year, get set for more and more. Congratulations!!!

God’s blessings always,
Dammy
