As believers’, we operate by spiritual laws. While these may not be popular or widely accepted, they must be obeyed if you must experience the manifestation of God’s power.
One of such spiritual laws we operate by is the law of faith. This law requires that if you must see something, you must be bold enough to say it consistently until you have it. In fact, this is one of the foremost spiritual laws demonstrated by God in the beginning. Genesis 1:2 says, “ And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters,” From verse 3, God began to call forth everything He wanted as formless and dark as the earth was. Guess what? They all came into being.
However, note that before God started to call things forth, the preceding verse says, “…and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters,” i.e this cannot be achieved by our intellectual, mental prowess. The Spirit of God infuses us with the required boldness to manifest in this capacity.
Let’s examine Thomas, the disciple as a case in point. When he was told about the resurrection of Christ by the other disciples, he told them off. After all, he was present at the crucifixion of Jesus, how then could anyone make him believe that the same Jesus whom he watched being crucified had now resurrected. He responded to them in John 20:25 saying, “…Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.” There were no mincing words here.
Eventually, Jesus re-appeared to the disciples and Thomas was asked by Jesus to touch his hands and sides were the nails had been thrust at crucifixion; alas, it was indeed the messiah.
Jesus was displeased at Thomas and He rebuked him for being faithless. Verse 29 of the same chapter says, “blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”
In summary, don’t wait to see before you say; express your faith in God by saying things you have not seen and don’t stop saying until you see them. Join team #SAYTOSEE today😀
Your week is fruitful in Jesus name.
God’s blessings always,
