The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith, and I am sending you to undertake this task.”

This was the heavenly mandate delivered to Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, founder and President of Living Faith Church worldwide, in an 18-hour vision between May 1-2, 1981. 37 years after, the evidence of the mandate is only getting stronger. Today’s session showcases a Church which has become a global phenomenon and a major player in the grooming of end-time giants.

Living Faith Church (also known as Winners’ Chapel International) started off with 31/2  members in a make-shift grass tent in Kaduna State, Nigeria. From this humble beginning, the church now has millions in its membership base. Along its physical membership, there are also several millions who join the services online.

The Ministry operates through 12 pillars which form the foundation of the word being preached. They are: Faith, The Word, Prayer, Consecration, Prosperity, Vision, Wisdom, Success, Signs and Wonders, the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing and Praise.

In these 37 years, the Church has also impacted the educational sectors of various Nations through its educational institutions which run from nursery to tertiary levels. The nursery/primary schools are known as Kingdom Heritage Schools, Faith Academy group of Schools is for the secondary level. At tertiary level, the Church has two Universities running concurrently: Covenant University and Landmark University (others in the works).
