Hello Dear One,

It’s nine days to Christmas💃💃💃

What have you got planned out- vacation or staycation? Are you sorted on your gift plan yet? Please remember to include the less privileged around you; they also deserve to celebrate the season.

One major characteristic of the season is taking stock of the year and no matter how much God has blessed you, the devil in his usual ploy tends to make you focus on those things that God has seemingly not done. However, it takes a wise Christian to maintain a right perspective. Addressing the church in Corinth, Apostle Paul asked them in 1 Corinthians 4:7 (the Message) “ … Isn’t everything you have and everything you are sheer gifts from God? So what’s the point of all this comparing and competing?”

In the words of the First Vice President of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Abioye, “we are receivers and not achievers.” This perspective helps us recognize God as the doer of all the blessings we have experienced. It’s not by your strength or expertise that things are working out in your favour, it’s all God; everything you are and all you have are gifts from Him.

Refuse to allow the devil lie to you that God hasn’t been good to you. Those things that seem random to you are not at all random. In fact, it takes a working brain to know there are things God hasn’t done. As for me, I choose to recognize that God has done me well. In fact, I can’t see nothing that He hasn’t done. This song is a great place to begin your thanksgiving dance.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
