Dear Blessed of the Lord,

Welcome to a brand new day; it’s a day the Lord has made for us to rejoice and be glad. Nothing short of joy will be your lot all through the new week in Jesus name.

Psalm 92:1 (KJV) states, “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name,O most High:”

That’s not a rhetoric like one of my Pastors would say. There, we have King David speaking from his wealth of experience- letting us know that rejoicing and giving thanks to God is good. Examining the flip side of that statement, we could deduce, it is a bad thing not to give thanks unto the Lord.

This is the devil’s specialty, He makes us undermine the goodness of God upon our lives. It starts off in a very subtle way and gradually, we begin to see God’s blessings as rights instead of privileges.

2020 has been an eventful year, no doubt. Through it all, you have experienced the goodness of God and I’m positive about that because there are many things working for you. Top on this list is the breathe of God in you; which is priceless.

How about we get intentional in recounting God’s blessings upon our lives all through the first half of 2020. Every single thing we have working for us is evidence enough that God is working; hallelujah!  As we rejoice and give thanks to God, the outstretched arm of God is released for the perfection of our blessings in Jesus name.

We’ll conclude this post with The Passion Translation of the same chapter-it’s absolutely captivating:

It’s so enjoyable to come before you
with uncontainable praises spilling from our hearts!
How we love to sing our praises over and over to you,
to the matchless God, high and exalted over all!
At each and every sunrise we will be thanking you
for your kindness and your love.
As the sun sets and all through the night,
we will keep proclaiming, “You are so faithful!”
