Hello Blessed One,

Welcome to a wonderful working week. In this new week, your steps are ordered by the word of God and your paths shine brighter in the name of Jesus.

We began a hope series last week, aimed at stirring up our faith and positioning us for the deluge of blessings God still has in store for us. If you missed it, please have a read here.

Today, we’re gleaning from 1 Thessalonians 5:24, which states, “The One who calls is faithful, and He will do it.” (NIV).

God is a covenant keeping God. When He says a thing, He has literally put His integrity on the line. He is not going to change His mind due to ‘circumstances beyond his control’, like we typically hear people say. I recently heard Pastor Jerry Savelle refer to God as the original promise keeper. Does this get you pumped?

That means, it doesn’t matter how far-fetched that promise is. As long as it’s from God, be rest assured that He will do it. Has God blessed anyone around you with the blessing you desire, have you searched through the scriptures? Are there people who faced similar challenges and overcame? That’s about all you need, because if He did it before, He will surely do it again!

We’ll close out today looking through other translations of 1Thess 5:24

New Living Translation- “God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.”

English Standard Version- “He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.”

New King James Version – “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

King James Bible – “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”

Christian Standard Bible- “He who calls you is faithful; he will do it.”

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
