Hello Amazing Reader,

Welcome to a new week! Joy and rejoicing is your portion all the way in Jesus name.

Some years ago, I watched a dog chase a little child. The dog was skinny, and it couldn’t have been perceived as a threat to someone older. The child looked between 4-5 years and I saw from a distance how this child scampered for safety. Good thing, someone came to the child’s aide in no time. I am not quite sure whether or not this person had any sticks or stones. But the dog soon got the message that the child was no longer it’s target, and it surrendered; probably looking for another target.

This scenario has stayed with me since then because of the lessons the Holy Spirit taught me through it. One, the dog is likened to the devil. He does not have the ability to harm you, because God has given you authority. However, he has tricks and schemes that make him appear powerful. Two, as a believer, you can counterattack him by the word of God. When the devil comes at you in one way, he is really looking to see if you know who you are in Christ.

Mark 11:23 states, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” You may be wondering, I have been speaking, why am I yet to see my desires granted? Because once isn’t enough dear one. You have to keep saying what you want, loud enough for the devil to hear you and you’ll see him bow out in no time.

As you go on this new week, keep speaking and you will have whatsoever you say.

God’s blessings always
