The greatest asset of a believer is the presence of God. Without the presence of God at work in a believer’s life, he/she is merely existing. King David knew this, hence he cried out to God not to cast him away from His presence, nor take away the Holy Spirit from him; Psalm 51:11

It’s simply futile attempting to do life without the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit in us makes us victorious in life. He teaches, guides, instructs, shows us the way to go…He is really everything to the believer.

That said, you might wonder how you can have the presence of God manifest in your life. Matthew 28:19-20 presents us with one of such ways. It states, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

The Great Commission in this scripture is not for a select group of people. Jesus gave this instruction to every believer. And as long as we’re abiding by this, He promises us the gift of His presence.

Dear Amazing One, this new week presents us another opportunity to speak to others about the love of Jesus, as we do, we’re sure to enjoy the gift of His presence at work in our lives in Jesus name; Amen.
