Hello,

Welcome to another beautiful week, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I pray that the Holy Spirit will send you a word for the new week through this post in Jesus name, Amen!

Is God enough for you, just him, nothing added? Will you continue to tirelessly serve him with none of your demands met? Are you obedient to his instructions only because of the promises in his word? Or will you be committed to the things of God even if you received nothing in return?

These are some of the questions that have been on my mind for the past week.

“I am already loved, I am already chosen… when I have Jesus I have everything because you are enough and that is enough”

“If you do nothing else for me, you have done enough o, Omemma (the doer of good things)”

These are lyrics from 2 songs that ministered to me. They have challenged and questioned my intentions and commitment in my walk with God. In Matthew 2, the wise men travelled far and ceaselessly to worship and adore baby Jesus, with no demands of their own. They just wanted to worship the King of Kings, nothing more. What exactly are your intentions when you are in the place of worship?

Again, one of the lyrics talked about being loved, are you satisfied with only the love of God (1 John 4:8 and 16)? If that is all you get from your relationship with God, will you passionately tell others about that love? How he loved us so much that he sacrificed his only son so that we might have a beautiful life worth living for him. I don’t know your answers to these questions but I know that I was able to sincerely identify my shortcomings and re-devote my whole life to serving God and him alone. Seek first the Kingdom of God (Matt 6:33) and do not worry about anything else because if you have him, you have everything, he is more than enough. I pray this will rekindle the fire of God within you and as you meditate and reflect on this, you will find him in the place of praise, worship, and prayer, Amen.

God bless,
