Hello Amazing One,

It’s a beautiful, new working week; thank you for joining us today.

I once heard the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye give an analogy about the help of God. He said when you look up to another person to help you, they may help you, but they’ll ensure that assistance does not make you measure up to them by any standard. A few others may help you as far as their hands can reach. That is, you become at par with them. But, very rarely will you find anyone who is willing to help you become better than himself/herself. That’s the nature of man.

On the contrary, when God helps you, He lifts you as far as your faith permits. His unlimited hands can lift you to unimaginable heights when you receive His help.

In 2 Kings 6:26, a Samarian woman cries out to the King of Israel for help, having been deceived by another woman. The response of the king in verse 27 is our focus “… If the Lord does not help you, from where shall I get you help? From the threshing floor, or from the wine press? (the Amplified)

Interestingly, the one to whom you are looking to for help is also seeking elsewhere for help. Why not look to God this time. In fact, you can position yourself for this help by declaring with expectation, “My help has come.”

The timely help of God is your portion and testimony this week, in Jesus name.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
