Hello Amazing Reader,

It’s another wonderful week; one in which you’ll rejoice and be glad, in Jesus name. Our sincere apologies for not posting our Showcase edition on Saturday. We were engaged with the anniversary edition of the 1nebody Book Club. Thank you for your understanding.

In today’s meditation, we’re gleaning from 2 Timothy 2:15. Please come along.

Do your best to be the kind of person God will accept, and give yourself to him. Be a worker who has no reason to be ashamed of his work, one who applies the true teaching in the right way. (Easy-to-Read Version)

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.(King James Version)

For most part of my high school, this was one of the most quoted scriptures. It was often sung by most teachers, emphasizing the need to prepare for examinations. As a result, I subconsciously tagged it an exam scripture.

Over the weekend, while preparing for the book club’s second anniversary, the Holy Spirit reminded me about it. Meditating on it, He made me understand that the instruction to study isn’t limited to a particular phase of one’s life. Rather, it is for all seasons and for all believers.

Just as a student in high school or college would study to make good grades, a worker would do the same to pass his/her professional exams. Likewise, a believer must consistently live a studious life and apply these lessons to be the kind of person God will accept.

It’s not enough to have the latest books in your library. Would you become intentional in studying and imbibing the knowledge from these resources? You’d be amazed how much potential is in you waiting to be stirred up and released.

Do have a blessed and studious week ahead.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
