Hello Amazing Reader,
Our very sincere apologies for the delay in posting this week’s meditation. Trust your week is off to a great start. Please come along as we continue our study from 2 Timothy 2:15–
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (King James Version)
The President of Winners Chapel International, Bishop David Oyedepo says, “What you don’t learn, you won’t know and what you don’t know, you will pay for.”
God has given us all we need to live a victorious life here on earth (1 Timothy 6:17). It’s all documented in His Word- the Bible. However, our lives can only reflect how much of the Word we know and apply.
For instance, God wishes that we enjoy sound health- spirit, soul and body (3 John 2). Why then would anyone think God uses sickness to teach His child a lesson? This is a baseless assertion that many have lived with.
When you study God’s word by the help of the Holy Spirit, you can know God for yourself. Also, you are able to rightly divide the word of truth; especially amidst the various doctrines of this age.
Remember, the more of the Word you know, the more of God you know. And the more you know, the more like Him you become. No one can know all of God, but you can keep growing in your knowledge of Him.
Can you consciously ask God today for the grace to stay hungry for His word?
God’s blessings always,
