Hello Amazing Readers,

Beautiful evening to you all. May your week be blessed and full of laughter and peace in Jesus name, Amen.

The anchor scripture for today is taken from Hebrews 12:2a (KJV)

“Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith;”

We are only about a month and half to the end of 2023, and I know, like me, some of you are still waiting on some answered prayers. There are still some goals that we would like ticked off for 2023 and I understand that your day and night is probably mixed with a lot of planning, strategizing, and worrying. Trying to figure out how to achieve those things you set out to do this year before 31st December. I am in the same situation right now but I got a reminder last week that I would like to share with you and it is simple. REFOCUS ON GOD.

Of course, I am not saying don’t make those plans, neither am I saying that you shouldn’t re-evaluate and re-strategize your approach but in doing all of that, don’t let it take your focus away from God. Don’t get carried away or burdened by what you are yet to accomplish with only a little time left in the year. Like today’s verse says, God is the Author, He is the Finisher. So, look to Him in all your plannings. Remember, Peter only started to sink when his focus changed from Jesus. And the Bible also says in Psalm 121, to keep our eyes glued to the mountains, the representation of God Almighty, the only One who can give us the help that we need.

Yes, this year will soon come to a close and yes, there is still so much more to be done but only God changes the times and seasons. He can make the goals you have set for 365 days happen in a single day. So, I want you to block out all the noise and look to Jesus for the remaining part of this year. Call to Him and ask for His ever-present Spirit to help you as you start to refocus on Him.

God bless,

Dasola
