Hello Amazing Reader,

It’s the start of another beautiful week.  Do you have any expectations for the week, or do you plan to go with the flow? That is, whatever the new week brings along, you’d simply accept.

In the 1nebody book club community (why haven’t you joined us), one of the resources we just reviewed is Expect to Receive God’s Best by Jerry Savelle. Although this is not a review post, I believe we can use one of the major lessons from the message as we step into the new week.

God always has the best in store for His children, but what we obtain is totally dependent on us. Recall the parable of the sower in Matthew 13:3-8.

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

From this scripture we see that the maximum of one hundredfold is obtainable, but so is sixtyfold and thirtyfold.

What do you believe for? 2023 is gradually winding down, but it is still possible to obtain the maximum blessings that God already prepared for you.

Are you interested in receiving these? The first step is expectation. Expect to receive God’s best in every sphere of your life- your spiritual life, career, academics, family, finances, your health, etc. The maximum is attainable. In this week, and for the rest of the year, I dare you to believe God for the maximum.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
