On your marks, get set, go! The race in 2021 has begun.

In track events, a lot of emphasis is placed on how to start a race, because it ultimately determines how far the athlete goes. There are also different rules that apply, depending on the kind of race. For example, the starting technique for a sprint is different from that of a marathon.

In this message, the minister lets us know that running the race of 2021 demands courage, as only the strong and courageous will make it through this year and beyond successfully. Using Joshua as a case in point, God instructed him to be strong and courageous, because he needed those to record good success (Joshua 1:8).

Pastor Ojeme goes on to admonish listeners that 2021 is a year of the strong. With so many negative examples all around us today, it takes a heart of courage to stay rooted on Biblical principles. He further states that the Bible should remain our standard for living, not any man-irrespective of titles.

Furthermore, the key to being courageous is letting the word of God become your benchmark in every area of life.

We’re still in the early hours of 2021, it’s a great time to get into this message and be inoculated with a starting dose of the courage you need to carry on. This message is a part of Living the Faith We Believe series of The Builders’ Forum.

God’s blessings always
