Hello Amazing One,

It’s a bright and beautiful beginning of another working week. Trusting God with you that all your plans, which are according to God’s will enjoy speedy fulfillment in Jesus name.

In today’s meditation, we glean from Joel 2:25-27, which speaks to God’s restoration covenant for anyone who has been through or is currently going through a difficult season.

The Message translation states,

I’ll make up for the years of the locust,
    the great locust devastation—
Locusts savage, locusts deadly,
    fierce locusts, locusts of doom,
That great locust invasion
    I sent your way.
You’ll eat your fill of good food.
You’ll be full of praises to your God,
The God who has set you back on your heels in wonder.
Never again will my people be despised.
You’ll know without question
that I’m in the thick of life with Israel,
That I’m your God, yes, your God,
the one and only real God.
Never again will my people be despised.

Perhaps it’s been one sad tale after the next, or things not exactly turning out as planned after several attempts. But God is saying, “I’ll make it up…” That’s huge!

More so, whatever negative experience you have had will soon be turned to a testimony. In fact, not once, but twice, He says, “Never again will my people be despised.” There you have it. It means you and shame are eternally separated, and forever too.

Restoration is here, rejoice!
