It’s the 30th day of September 2019; the last day of the ninth month👏👏👏 God is so good!!!

Today’s meditation is an offshoot of one of the things I learnt at Church yesterday and apart from the fact that I haven’t gotten over it yet, I am certain that it would bless you as well.

Prior to yesterday’s service, I had been praying about the marvelous helps of God in certain areas of my life . Imagine this is still in my thoughts and suddenly my Pastor reads from Psalm 28:7. The New International Version says, “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.”

I like the Contemporary English Version too: “You are my strong shield, and I trust you completely. You have helped me, and I will celebrate and thank you in song.”

This scripture lets us know that before we receive the help of God, our trust in God must be in tact, unshaken and whole. Not half and half, not 20% in our connections and 80% in God, not even 99% in God and 1% in others. It has to be 100% or nothing.

In other words, unreserved trust is the key to receiving the help of God. As we traverse through the last quarter of the year, I pray God grants us the grace to trust Him completely in order to be recipients of His helps. Amen!

Meanwhile, may the  balance of your September-blessings locate you before the day ends in Jesus name!

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
